Ping Pong in The Mall!

Shoppers at The Mall Walthamstow are now able to enjoy playing some free table tennis as the centre opens a FREE pop up Ping Pong Parlour on Monday 30th July for 6 weeks.

The parlour can be found at the town centre entrance next to Prett and is open daily between 9am and 6pm. Everyone is welcome to drop in to play on one of the 2 table tennis tables in the parlour which promises to be an exciting attraction for the community. To join in the fun, simply grab a bat from the side of the table and play – absolutely free of charge!

Ping Pong Parlours have already opened in several other shopping centres nationwide and form part of Table Tennis England’s vision to inspire people to get active and lead happier, healthier lifestyles by introducing table tennis into the places they already spend time in their everyday lives.

The Mall Walthamstow are recipients of Team World Cup Legacy funding, supported by the Mayor of London, to increase the number of people taking part in table tennis within their communities in East London. To find out more about this project please click here.
