There are many unsung heroes out there in Ping!land - people who invest a huge amount of their spare time, enthusiasm, energy and emotion into helping 'mind' tables, running events and competitions, coaching .. the list goes on. We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you; without people like you Ping! would not be the success that it is.

What do you get if you take 1000 ping pong tables, 10,000 bats and 60,000 balls, and place them in the streets and open spaces of 19 towns and cities nationwide?
The answer is, of course, Ping! - probably the biggest and coolest ping pong festival in the world and certainly the one with the most street cred.

The nation will be going batty again this summer when Ping! - the free street table tennis festival - bounces back for the sixth year running, now in 19 towns and cities.
The ping pong extravaganza brings table tennis to remarkable and surprising public places nationwide, from The Watering Hole bar on Perranporth Beach, Britain’s longest outdoor swimming pool in Cambridge, the National Trust gardens at Tressilick to Game City in Nottingham and more. The tables pop up in popular thoroughfares and prove just too tempting to resist; to join in the fun, simply grab a bat from the side of the table and play – absolutely free of charge!

Ping! - the innovative public ping pong festival – is bouncing back this summer bigger and brighter than ever before. A record 19 cities will be placing over 750 tables in unusual and remarkable places, for all to enjoy. Bats and balls are supplied: to join in the fun just borrow a bat from the side of the table, and play! As well as free-play, each ping pong table features ‘Random Acts of Ping Pong’ – a varied programme of master classes, competitions and free to join actiivites.

Ping! - the public ping pong project - is back this summer with over 600 public tables installed in landmarks locations across England. From 17th July – 31st August, ping pong tables will pop up in train stations, stately homes, markets, museums, piers, prisons – and even a windmill. The tables are free for everyone to enjoy. To take part, just borrow a bat from the side of the table and play ball!
